2. REGISTER NOW FOR THE HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE.  Teachers and students prepare an envelope with holiday cards to send to the other participants prior to December. 4. ONE DAY IN THE LIFE PROJECT - SPECIAL NOVEMBER 10th EVENT.  Students describe a day in their life - describing typical days in their lives, or vacations, birthdays, graduation or other experiences, including celebrations and holidays. In addition to written descriptions, students are invited to share visual images of their days through the "A Day in the Life: Photo Diaries," a digital photography exchange. 6. FRIENDS BOOK.  A global project inviting students to draw images of themselves, their homes and their dreams, and then to exchange and discuss them with new project friends.  From these images, we will compose Friends Books of participants, and make both hard and virtual copies of each book with contacts and pictures instead of photos. By drawing themselves, we believe both young people with disabilities and without them from all over the world will make a step towards each other and help each other to overcome various barriers appearing in their lives and communities. http://media.iearn.org/projects/friends.  Facilitated by Liudmila Trebunskikh in Belarus.
